LinkedIn stories: available in the Netherlands from today
inkedIn has started testing a story function for LinkedIn users in the Netherlands today. Dutch LinkedIn users are the first in Europe to be allowed to test this new function. The Netherlands is the second country worldwide where LinkedIn stories are available. The function was already introduced in Brazil last month.
What are LinkedIn stories?
Any social media user is familiar with stories: these are short posts that disappear from the timeline after 24 hours. This function is quite popular on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and LinkedIn is now also responding to this. According to LinkedIn, the function should provide a more human aspect on the platform: “LinkedIn Stories makes it possible to provide a look behind the scenes of daily activities, to share sources of inspiration, to give other entrepreneurs a platform or simply to share knowledge and practical tips.”
In the Think phase, the emphasis is more on comparing potential customers, so good information provision is key here. Therefore, get overseas data started with the content of the website, for example by sharing whitepapers or posting articles. This way you show that you are the address to do business with. How does it work?
