Shops open on Reformation Day 2024 on Thursday, 31/10/2024 and Remembrance Day 2024 on Friday, 1/11/2024. In accordance with the amendment to the Trade Act (ZT-1B) from 2020, all shops in Slovenia are generally clos during holidays and on Sundays. However, there are some exceptions when shops can be open. So the question is, which shops will be open on Reformation Day and Remembrance Day 2024?

Reformation Day 2024 and Remembrance Day 2024
Reformation Day 2024 will be celebrat on Thursday, October 31, 2024. On Friday, November 1, 2024, the Day of Remembrance for the Dead 2024 will follow . This consequently means that shops will be clos for two consecutive days. Then they will be open on Saturday and clos again on Sunday. In this week, there are also autumn or potato holidays 2024 . Shops Open Reformation Day 2024 and Remembrance Day 2024
The Trade Act provides for a set of exceptions where some shops may also be open on Sundays and public holidays. Amendment ZT-1C, which was adopt on December 15, 2022, supplement this set of exceptions. These are primarily accurate mobile phone number list exceptions that were previously regulat by the Act on Intervention Measures to Help the Economy and Tourism in Mitigating the Consequences of the Covid-19 Epidemic (ZIUPGT).
Exceptions set by ZT-1 and allowing shops to be open on Sundays and holidays:
stores with a sales area of up to 200 m2 at petrol stations, border crossings, ports, airports, railway and bus stations and in hospitals .
small shops with an area of up to 200 m2 in which, on Sundays and holidays, the work is carri out by trade operators or legal nurturing relationships: building strong connections representatives or procurators of a legal entity engag in commercial activity. Pupils, students and pensioners can also work in these shops.
ZT-1C also adds that shops at airports, buying house b tourist information centers and museums can determine their own working hours, as the amendment states ” Notwithstanding the third paragraph of this article, the operating hours of shops at international airports, tourist information centers and museums can be determine without limitation “
