Today, Chinook salmon are still migrating among the Guadalupe River, Coyote Creek, Napa River and walnut Creek.  Mercury in industry, mining and other uses has caused this toxic metal to be widely distributed in the bay, absorbed by phytoplankton in the bay and polluted sports fish.  Martinez Beaver in Anambra Creek also has aquatic mammals in the bay. Before 1825, Spaniards, French, British, Russians and Americans were attracted to the Gulf region to catch large numbers of beavers, otters, mink, fishermen, mink, foxes, weasel, spotted seals, fur seals and sea otters.
They are very real images so to speak
